Project Description
Ideally, I would love to find a topic together that fits your background, expertise, and goals for the research programme best -- this could be writing up actionable lessons, a blog post or even publishing a academic paper together. Below are some examples of topics I would be excited to work on (tough this is not exhaustive, and my priorities are likely to change)
AI and whistleblowing policies (learnings from existing whistleblowing policies in other domains; history of use and non-use; practical recommendations for implementation)
AI evaluations, auditing and risk management (derive lessons from diverse risk management regimes, such as finance and aviation, to inform and enhance third-party evaluation practices in frontier AI)
Estimating compliance costs of the EU AI Act, in particular Article 28b
Comparative Analysis of Different Regulatory Approaches to AI risks
